How much does it cost to get a replacement for my expiring or expired card?
You have an N26 Smart, Go or Metal account
Replacement cards that are about to expire are free of charge for all N26 Smart, Go, or Metal customers.
You have an N26 Standard account
If you opened your account before the following dates, both the new card and standard shipping to your address are free of charge within the countries where N26 is available: (new tab)
- 16.02.2021 (Customers with legal address in Greater Europe)
- 25.02.2021 (Customers with legal address in Italy or Spain)
- 11.03.2021 (Customers with legal address in France)
- 18.03.2021 (Customers with legal address in Germany, Austria or Switzerland)
For all standard accounts created after the dates listed above, replacement cards will cost the same as a brand new card starting in 2026. Accounts created before these dates will continue to enjoy free replacements.

How long will it take?
All replacements for expiring or expired cards are shipped via Standard delivery. It takes up to 15 business days and is free of charge. In rural or harder-to-reach areas it can take longer. To stay up-to-date on the delivery progress simply go to the home screen of your N26 mobile app.
