Marketing Communication Settings

As a N26 customer, you can toggle our Marketing Communications on or off within the N26 mobile & web apps, allowing you to choose whether or not you would like to receive personalised offers for N26 products and features, as well as, updates about N26 partner deals and other recommendations.

You can access the Marketing Communications Settings in the mobile & web app as follows:

Below you will find an explanation on each marketing communications toggle so you can better manage your desired settings. You can find information on the associated data processing in the N26 privacy policy.

  • Push Notifications
    • When you enable the push notifications toggle, you will receive personalised offers for N26 products and features, updates about N26 partner deals and other recommendations via push notifications. When you disable the push notifications toggle, you will no longer receive the above mentioned content via push notifications.
    • Please note: Enabling/disabling the toggle only affects content related to personalised offers for N26 products and features, updates about N26 partner deals and other recommendations but has no effect on any other content you may receive via push notifications. Therefore, even when you turn this toggle off, you will still receive push notifications containing information which is relevant to your usage of your N26 bank account (e.g. recent transactions, new features of your bank account).
  • In-App Updates:
    • When you enable the in-app updates toggle, you will receive personalised offers for N26 products and features, updates about N26 partner deals and other recommendations via in-app updates, which are small banners seamlessly displayed within the transaction feed. When you disable the in-app updates toggle, you will no longer receive the above mentioned content via in-app updates.
    • Please note: Enabling/disabling the toggle only affects content related to personalised offers for N26 products and features, updates about N26 partner deals and other recommendations but has no effect on any other content you may receive via in-app updates. Therefore, even when you turn this toggle off, you will still receive in-app updates on information which is relevant to your usage of your N26 bank account (e.g. recent transactions, new features of your bank account).
  • Emails:
    • When you enable the emails toggle, you will receive personalised offers for N26 products and features, updates about N26 partner deals and other recommendations via emails. When you disable the emails toggle, you will no longer receive the above mentioned content via email.
    • Please note: Enabling/disabling the toggle only affects content related to personalised offers for N26 products and features, updates about N26 partner deals and other recommendations but has no effect on any other content you may receive via emails. Therefore, even when you turn this toggle off, you will still receive emails on information which is relevant to your usage of your N26 bank account (e.g. recent transactions, new features of your bank account).
  • Support chat:
    • When you enable the support chat toggle, you will receive personalised offers for N26 products and features, updates about N26 partner deals and other recommendations via support chat, e.g. towards the end of a conversation with the N26 customer service. When you disable the support chat toggle, you will no longer receive the above mentioned content via support chat.
    • Please note: This toggle has no effect on your accessibility to the N26 customer service, including the N26 support chat. You will in any case still be able to access the customer support chat and will receive support upon your inquiries.
  • Marketing Partners:
    • When you enable the Marketing Partners toggle, you agree that N26 can send your hashed email address to our Marketing Partners (Google Ireland Limited & Facebook Ireland Limited) in order to exclude you from N26 advertisements and to help N26 better define their audience groups. If you turn this toggle off, N26 will not send your email address to our Marketing Partners and you may receive N26 advertisements that are irrelevant for you.
