When will my card arrive?
Your N26 card arrives within up to 10 working days with standard delivery, or up to 3 working days with express delivery (new tab). In rural or harder-to-reach areas it can take longer. You can track delivery progress on the Home tab of your N26 app. For express orders, we will also email you a special tracking link so you can watch your card's progress every step of the way. Wait until the estimated delivery time has elapsed before taking any action.
How to make sure your card is on its way
Three things need to be in place before your card is produced and shipped.
1. Verify your identity. Your card won't ship until you've completed identity verification. Log in to your account to confirm this step is done. If you haven't done it yet, verify your identity (new tab) now.
2. Check your delivery address. Open the N26 app and go to your profile initials (top right) > 'Personal Details' > 'Addresses' > 'Delivery Address'. Update your delivery address if anything is wrong.
- It must be a residential address — business addresses aren't accepted.
- Your name must appear on the mailbox. If a different name is on the mailbox, add it to 'Additional address info' in the app.
- Enter your postal code without spaces.
- Add your building number, floor number, and door code to 'Additional address info' if they apply.
- If you're moving soon, use express delivery and enter the address you'll be moving to.
- If your address contains special characters, ask for a specialist in the support chat (new tab) to update it.
3. Make sure your account balance covers the plan fee. Your card is produced and shipped once your balance stays at or above €0 after your first monthly plan fee is charged.
- Your first N26 Smart, N26 Go, or N26 Metal card is free. For N26 Standard, you get a free virtual card (new tab). If you want a physical N26 Standard card, there's a €10 delivery fee.
- If you upgrade to a premium plan (Smart, Go, or Metal), the first plan fee is charged immediately when you upgrade. If you're a new customer, the first fee is charged once you add enough money to cover it — but no later than 15 days after you verified your identity.
- If your balance goes negative after the plan fee is charged, you’ll need to add money to your account (new tab) before your card can be shipped.
You'll get a notification in Messages from N26 (new tab) and a banner on the Home tab once your card is on its way.

Switching to express delivery (€25 fee, charged when your card ships) requires our support team. To arrange it, ask for a specialist in the support chat (new tab).
Use your card before it arrives
You don't have to wait for your physical card to start using it. Once your card is issued, you can add it to a digital wallet and pay with your phone straight away — even before the card lands in your mailbox.

Card not arrived in time
To check the expected arrival date, go to the Home tab of the N26 app or on the web — the estimated delivery date is shown there. If the estimated delivery date has passed and your card still hasn't arrived, ask for a specialist in the support chat (new tab) to check the delivery status.
