How to close my N26 account?
We’re sorry to see that you want to close your N26 account. We’d love to keep you as a customer — tell us what we can do better! If you have a premium N26 account, you can simply cancel your premium membership and switch to the free N26 Standard bank account.
If you’ve decided to permanently close your N26 account, please follow the steps below.
Do you have Crypto, Stocks and ETFs, or a PEA account?
- For N26 Crypto, you'll need to sell your assets before being able to close your main N26 account.
- For Stocks and ETFs, you can sell your assets or transfer your portfolio to another platform. For portfolio transfer, please contact our support team in chat.
- If you have a PEA account (available in France only), you will have to either close it, or ask its transfer to a new bank.
Do you have an N26 SIM plan?
Your N26 SIM plan is directly linked to your N26 account. Therefore, make sure to cancel your SIM plan before closing your account. The associated phone number will be deactivated from the date your account is closed. If you're looking to keep your N26 telephone number, you are required to request a number transfer from your new telecommunication provider within 90 days after your N26 SIM plan has ended. For more information, reach out to your new telecommunication provider.
