Manage your GDPR rights as a former customer
Manage your GDPR rights as a former customer
You can only manage your data rights on web.
Keeping your personal and financial data safe is one of our top priorities. That's why we've created the N26 GDPR Form (new tab). It's a secure way for former customers (whose accounts are now closed) and their authorized representatives to get in touch with us about their personal data.
How does the GDPR form work?
You should use the N26 GDPR form if you're a former customer who wants to exercise your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), either yourself or through someone authorized to act for you.
Which documents can I request?
You can request the following documents:
- Account confirmation
- Card payment confirmations
- Transfer confirmations
- Balance statements
- RIB (France only)
Once you submit a request, you can expect an answer from our dedicated team within 30 calendar days.
What info do I need to fill out the form?
To get started, you'll need to have the following ready:
- Your country of residence
- Your status (former customer or authorized representative)
- The type of request you're making
- The language you'd like the reports in
- Which accounts you need documents for
- Transaction details (if applicable)
- Your full name and email address
Do I need to provide anything else?
Yes. Since you can't log in to the app anymore, we need another way to verify who you are. This ensures your private data doesn't fall into the wrong hands. For that reason, we'll need you to upload a copy of your ID or passport.
Please make sure your full name, date of birth, expiry date, and photograph are clearly visible. You're welcome to black out any other info that isn't needed for identification.
As is our obligation according to GDPR, we'll delete the copy of your ID as soon as your request is finished.
Once you've filled out the whole form and uploaded your ID, just click Submit to send your request our way.
