What is N26 Instant Savings?

N26 Instant Savings is an easy-access savings account that’s 100% flexible and available at no extra cost in the N26 app. You can earn interest on your savings, and instantly withdraw anytime, without losing any interest you’ve already earned. To sign up for N26 Instant Savings:

• Login to the N26 App
• Tap on Finances
• Select Instant savings next to the piggy bank icon
• Read and accept the T&Cs

The interest is calculated daily and paid out monthly directly on your Savings account. The applicable interest rate depends on your membership. Due to recent changes in the interest rates set by the European Central Bank, we're changing our interest rates as follows:

• Current rate: 0.75% p.a.

• Current rate: 1.05% p.a.

• Current rate: 2.25% p.a.

  • Customers with an N26 Metal or Business Metal subscription who opened their account on or after February 19, 2025, can benefit from our new Instant Savings offer*. When opening an Instant Savings account, they will receive the ECB interest rate applicable on that day, with future ECB rate changes applying only to new accounts opened afterward.
  • For example, if the ECB rate is 2.75% on February 19, 2025, customers opening their Instant Savings account that day will earn 2.75% interest. This is a permanent offer, not a promotion.
  • *Note: at this time, this offer is not available in Spain.

If you see the option to sign up for N26 Instant Savings in the mobile app, you’re eligible! You’ll need:

• The latest version of the N26 App
• An N26 personal account with a Standard or Premium membership.
• A German IBAN (beginning with DE)
• German T&Cs
• A valid legal address in Germany
• A valid tax ID.

Please note: To benefit from this offer, you’ll need to open an N26 account. After that, you may open a separate N26 Instant Savings account to earn interest alongside everyday banking. Please note that you’ll only be able to open an N26 Instant Savings account if you meet the eligibility requirements. Interest is earned only on funds held in your Instant Savings account.
