Cancellation, billing, and account closure for N26 Travel eSIM
Cancel your plan
The rules for canceling a Travel eSIM are different from a Local Plan.
Within 14 days of purchase (Withdrawal Right)
You have the right to withdraw from your plan within 14 days of your purchase date, but only if you meet specific conditions.
You cannot revoke your purchase if:
- You have already used more than 500MB of the plan's data.
- The plan's validity period was less than 14 days (e.g., a 7-day plan) and it has already expired.
- Your request is outside the 14-day purchase window.
To request a withdrawal:
- To request a withdrawal from an N26 Travel eSIM data plan, ask for a specialist in the support chat. You must do this within the 14-day period.
- If your request is approved, your plan will be canceled immediately and you will receive a refund.
Standard Cancellation
It is not possible to cancel an active or pending Travel eSIM plan. If you do not wish to use a plan you have purchased, you do not need to do anything. The plan will simply expire on its own.
Billing for Travel eSIM
The Travel eSIM is a prepaid service.
- You are charged instantly at the moment of purchase.
- You must have enough funds in your account to make the purchase.
- No invoices are sent by default. To request an invoice for your records, ask for a specialist in the support chat.
Closing your N26 account
You must have an active N26 bank account to use your Travel eSIM plan. You cannot keep the plan if you close your N26 bank account.
