What are the replacement costs for a card?

Whether your replacement card is free depends on your plan.

N26 Smart, Go, or Metal: Your replacement card is free of charge.

N26 Standard: If you opened your account before the dates below, both the new card and shipping to your address are free within the countries where N26 is available (new tab):

• 16/02/2021 — Greater Europe
• 25/02/2021 — Italy and Spain
• 11/03/2021 — France
• 18/03/2021 — Germany, Austria, and Switzerland

If your account was opened after these dates, replacement cards cost the same as ordering a brand new card, starting in 2026. Accounts opened before these dates continue to get free replacements.

If you're currently located outside an N26-supported country (new tab), extra delivery costs apply. In that case, ask for a specialist in the support chat (new tab) to place the order for you.

All replacement cards for expiring or expired cards ship via standard delivery. Delivery is free of charge and takes up to 15 business days. In rural or harder-to-reach areas, delivery can take longer. To track your delivery, go to the home screen of your N26 app.
