Multi-asset savings plans: Troubleshooting

If you’re having trouble with your multi-asset savings plan—such as failed or partial purchases, missing assets, or unexpected charges—this guide will help you resolve common issues on your own.

Common issues and solutions

I received a notification about a failed asset

  • You’ll get a push notification if part of your plan failed. You are only charged for successful purchases.

My plan only bought some of the assets (“partial execution”)

  • Check your Main Account balance. If there wasn’t enough money, only some assets were purchased.
  • Add funds before the next scheduled execution or make a one-time manual purchase for missed assets.

My plan failed completely

  • If your Main Account balance was too low for the first asset, the entire plan failed.
  • Make sure you have enough funds before the next scheduled execution.

I have money in a Space, but my plan failed

  • Plans only pull funds from your Main Account, not Spaces.
  • Move money from your Space to your Main Account before execution.

The “Save” button is greyed out when editing my plan

  • The total allocation must be exactly 100%. Adjust your allocations accordingly.

I can’t find a specific asset for my plan

  • Some assets may not be available due to partner restrictions.

What else can I do?

  • Edit or delete your plan in the N26 app under Investments > Manage Plan.
  • Wait for the next scheduled execution; failed purchases are not retried automatically.

When to contact support

If you see a technical error, were charged for a failed asset, or your issue isn’t listed here, contact N26 Support through the app.
