How to use Apple Pay?

Apple Pay allows you to make payments with your smartphone so you don’t have to carry your card everywhere.
Apple Wallet (new tab) is the place where you store your cards so you can use them with Apple Pay.
Note that you can use your wallet while you wait for your physical card.
Adding your card to your Apple Wallet makes payments more convenient, secure, and faster.
How to pay with Apple Pay?
Depending on the device you're using you'll authorize your payment in different ways either for in-store or online purchases:
- For iPhones you will need to double-click the side button and authenticate yourself via Face ID or using your passcode.
- If you’re using an Apple Watch, you'll authorize the payment by double-clicking on the side button.
- If you’re using your Mac, you'll pay by using Touch ID via the Touch Bar in the top-right corner of your keyboard;
- For iPad you'll use the Touch ID to pay. .
Is my card information protected?
Apple Pay is safer than using a physical card. When using a digital wallet, the merchant will not have access to our card number or your identity.
Apple doesn’t keep transaction information that can be tied back to you, as well as your actual card numbers aren’t stored on your device or on Apple servers.
Why did my card disappear from my Apple Wallet?
If your N26 card is unexpectedly removed from Apple Wallet, check the following:
- You are still logged in in your iCloud
- Your passcode or Touch/Face ID are turned on
- A factory reset has been made
- You blocked your card within the N26 app
But, no worries you can alway add your card again.
Type of devices that supports Apple Pay:
- iPhone models with Face ID
- iPhone models with Touch ID (iPhone 6 or later)
- iPad Pro, iPad Air, iPad, and iPad mini models with Touch ID or Face ID
- Apple Watch Series 1 and later
- Mac models with Touch ID
- Mac models introduced in 2012 or later with an Apple Pay-enabled iPhone or Apple Watch
- Mac computers with Apple silicon (new tab) that are paired with a Magic Keyboard with Touch ID
- Apple Vision Pro

Make sure that the country where the card was shipped matches with the region of the phone, otherwise it cannot be added to the wallet.
