Make N26 your main account

You can make N26 your main account from the N26 app or on web.

We can help you move your daily banking to N26 without the hassle. We'll take care of informing payment partners about your direct debits and incoming transfers (like your salary). Plus, we'll explain how to move your standing orders and transfer any remaining funds from your old account.

Here's how to make N26 your main account:

Together with our partner Qwist (new tab), we offer a free, automated tool to switch your bank accounts online. Just follow the steps below.

• Log in to the mobile app
• In the Home tab, select your initials
• Select 'Set N26 as primary bank' and then 'Continue'
• Follow the instructions

Once you submit your info, it takes us 5 to 7 business days to send out the notifications. Please note that your payment partners (e.g., utility companies) may need a little extra time to update their records.
