How to make N26 my main account?

Together with our partner Qwist GmbH (new tab) we’re offering you a platform to easily switch your bank accounts online. It’s an automated process and completely free. Log into your N26 mobile app and tap on My account > Switch to N26. Tap Start now and follow the instructions.

Alternatively, you can use our form (new tab) and log in with your previous bank account details. Once you’ve filled in all required information, it’ll take 5 to 7 business days for us to send out all notification letters. Your payment partners may need additional time to change your bank details for future transactions.

You could also inform your payment partners yourself. To do this, fill out the letter to notify your payment partners (new tab) and send it to them (Form available only in English and German). You could also request the termination of your bank account with your previous bank by filling out the form and sending it to them.
