Cancel or change your N26 plan
Our premium plans have an initial 12-month contract. After those 12 months, the plan renews automatically and becomes an indefinite contract. You have three ways to end or change your plan — each works differently depending on where you are in your contract.
How to revoke your plan within 14 days (legal revocation period)
You can revoke your premium plan within 14 days of the contract's effective start date. This is a legal right — the 14-day window is a mandatory revocation period.
Revoking your plan within this period lets you upgrade again to the same or a different premium plan in the future.

How to stop your plan from renewing
Your premium plan renews automatically at the end of its initial 12-month period. You can stop this renewal at any time before the 12 months are up.
If you stop your renewal, you keep your N26 Mastercard and all premium plan benefits until your plan expires. If you're on N26 Go or N26 Metal, you also keep your insurance coverage for as long as you continue paying your plan fee.
When the 12-month period ends, your account is automatically downgraded to N26 Standard and a virtual card is issued automatically. Make sure you have a minimum balance of 10 € at that time.

How to cancel your plan at any time
After the 14-day revocation period, you can cancel your plan directly in the N26 app at any time.
1. Open the N26 app and go to My Account (your initials in the top right corner).
2. Select Your membership.
3. Select Modify or cancel Membership.
If you're on N26 Go or N26 Metal, your insurance benefits stop immediately when you cancel. Your Premium card is also deactivated.

How to switch to a different premium plan
You can move from one premium plan to another without downgrading to N26 Standard. Your Spaces, round-up rules, and Income Sorter stay intact.
1. Open the N26 app and go to My Account.
2. Open Membership details.
3. Select Modify Membership and choose the premium plan that suits you.
Changing your plan doesn't affect your bank details. Your IBAN stays the same.
