Google Pay is a payment method that allows you to pay with your smartphone so you don’t have to carry your card with you all the time. It is available in all shops supporting contactless (NFC) payments as well as online shops.

Adding your card to your wallet is more convenient, secure and faster when paying.

Good news! You can start using your card while waiting to receive the physical one, as well as after you have received it. Check here, if you would like to know the steps on how you can add your card to your wallet while the physical one is on its way.

Why my card was removed from Google pay?

Due to additional security measure, your card can be remove if:

  • The device hasn't had network connectivity for a considerable period of time.
  • The security control used to access their device has been removed (e.g screen lock, passcode or biometric identifier)
  • N26 has revoked the Google Pay service for the card or removed the card eligibility

Note:

  • You can use your wallet while you wait for your physical card.
  •  If you don’t see the Add button in the N26 app, you can also link your card to your Google Pay Wallet directly through the Google Pay app.
