You can download your average annual balance certificate directly in the N26 app. This official document is valid without a signature or stamp. To get started, please make sure your app is updated to the latest version, then follow these steps:

1. Log in to the app and select your initials
2. Select ‘Account details’, then ‘Statements’, and finally ‘Average annual balance’
3. Select the document for the year you need and start the download

In Spain, the average annual balance is often required for official financial reporting and tax purposes, including:


• Residency applications: It helps demonstrate your financial means when applying for a permanent residence card or authorization for international mobility
• Spanish tax declarations: This document provides the information needed to declare your N26 account with a German IBAN to the Spanish tax authorities
• Legal and private verification: It may be required to verify your balance in court or with private entities

This document is currently only available in Spanish.

We calculate the average annual balance by adding up your daily account balances for the year and dividing the total by 365. This calculation remains the same regardless of leap years or how long the account was active during that year.
