Request your N26 account ownership certificate
To request your account ownership certificate, you must be logged in on web. If you need to prove that your bank account is officially registered in your name, you can do this by downloading your account ownership certificate — also known as an account confirmation. This document includes your first and last name, date of birth, IBAN, and the date you opened the account. You can also choose to include your current account balance and your active card numbers. For security reasons, your card numbers will be partially hidden with asterisks.
How to request your certificate
Just follow these steps to download your certificate:
- Log in to your account on web
- Select ‘Downloads’
- Under ‘Account confirmation’, choose whether you want to include your balance and/or your active card numbers
- Select ‘Request’
Your document will be generated as a PDF and we’ll send it to your Messages from N26 inbox.
For former customers and legal representatives
If your account is already closed, or you’re a legal representative acting on someone else’s behalf, you won’t be able to download your account ownership certificate directly. Instead, please submit your request through our form for former customers. You can use this same form to request other documents like transfer confirmations or balance statements.
