We also recommend checking if the agency accepts debit cards when you reserve the car as well as when you collect it, and whether they require the card to have embossed numbers.

Please also consider that:

• in case an unexpected or unjustified amount is charged, you’ll first need to contact and possibly start a dispute with the agency. Only if the dispute has a negative outcome, we’ll be able to offer our assistance to start a new dispute via Mastercard.

• the security deposit will be charged (and not authorized, as with credit cards). The deposit will then be credited back to your account after returning the car and if no damage is reported.
