How Funds work at N26

N26 Funds offer access to BlackRock’s professional asset management and global investment expertise, with three multi-asset funds catered to different risk appetites.

Have you ever wanted to invest but had no idea where to start? Have you had a hand at trading Stocks and ETFs yourself and want some more help? In addition to our Stocks and ETFs, you can explore Funds in the Investment tab. There, you'll find three available funds to choose from: Mindful, Balanced & Ambitious. Click on each fund to view detailed information, including expected returns and risk levels.

Your next steps are simple: decide how much you'd like to invest. You can set up an Investment Plan to contribute to the fund each month, or make a one-time payment and watch your investment grow.

If you have already been using our Stocks and ETFs offering, we will use this same information so you wont need to complete another sign-up. If you are new to our investment products, you will need to complete the sign-up process before you can make your first Funds investment.

Great news! You can enjoy fee-free investing for nearly four months, as we won't be charging any fees until April 1, 2025. What about after April? The N26 platform fees depend on your account type, these are the fees for each account:

• Standard = 0.59%
• Smart = 0.49%
• You = 0.39%
• Metal = 0.29%

Please note that fees charged by BlackRock are already included in and reflected as part of the fund's Net Asset Value (NAV).

For example, if you made an investment of 1,000€, your monthly cost would be just 41 cents, assuming no change in value or withdrawals.

Funds are only available in a select number of countries first and will expand into other markets in phases (see the top of the page for this list). Eligible customers will see Funds under the Investments tab. Eligibility can change at any time, so keep checking if you don’t see the option in your app just yet.

Germany

For our German customers, we want to make your trade related taxes easier on you. For any taxes from sales, purchase or dividends, we’ll automatically withhold and transfer this tax percentage to the authorities. For more information, check out our German Taxation FAQ.

Other supported markets

In our other supported markets, you are required to submit an individual tax declaration that includes all your income. Please note that we do not withhold or deduct taxes for customers in these countries.
