    Why hasn't my referral bonus arrived?

    Please note: in order to receive your reward, your friend must perform a first card transaction (i.e. in-store purchase, ATM withdrawal or online payment - PayPal excluded) worth at least the value of the referral bonus. The reward may take up to 60 days to be credited into your account.

    Once your friend has completed all the eligibility criteria of our Refer a Friend Program, we'll verify your reward. You can always sign in to your account in the app or WebApp (new tab) to check your reward status.

    In most cases the referral bonus isn’t rewarded because the invited friend hasn’t made a first 'Mastercard' transaction of at least the value of the reward or higher e.g. for a reward of 15 EUR the card transaction needs to be for 15 EUR or higher. Please make sure to inform your friend of these requirements.

    Keep in mind that the reward process could take up to 60 days.

    N26 retains the right to withhold a reward in case of suspicious activity that violates the Terms and Conditions (new tab).

    From 1st October we have started to rework and improve our Friend Referral program. Until these changes have been completed, we have removed this information from the app. Invites and sign-ups before the 1st October will still be paid out as before. We do not have a current time frame on when we will be back to offering sign-up referrals.
