Why are some products and services unavailable to me?
We collaborate with many partners. That’s why certain products and services require that you meet their requirements as well. The most common reasons why you wouldn’t be eligible for certain products:
- Expired or unsupported identity documents (for example, certain passports due to a lack of security features).
- You’re taxable in the United States. If so, you won’t be able to use certain invest or savings products. If this is not the case, contact our Customer Support via chat so we can look into your account details. You may need to switch your telephone number if it starts with a North American area code (+1).
- You proved your identity using PostIdent (in Germany). We’ll have to reset your account and you’ll have to prove your identity again in order to use certain products and services. If this is the case, we’ll email you about it and find a convenient time for you to do so.
- The product or service is not yet available in your country.
