How to get N26 Insurance?

The new on-demand N26 Insurance allows all N26 customers to get coverage for their smartphone, tablet, laptop, smartwatch and other electronics for theft, burglary, robbery, accidental damage and liquid damage. You can purchase the insurance directly in your N26 app, without going through any paperwork, and cancel it anytime you want.

How does it work?

If you want to subscribe for the on-demand N26 Insurance for electronics, just login to your N26 app, go to Explore and click on the “Insurance” banner you find.

You will then be asked to enter a few details about your device, select the monthly or yearly pricing option and confirm the request. The coverage for your device will be active from the day after you purchased the policy and it can be cancelled anytime from your N26 mobile app or your WebApp.

How to file a claim?

Once you have initiated a claim in the N26 app, you will be redirected to file the claim on Simplesurance's online portal (new tab). Log in with your Certificate Number and PIN which you can find in your insurance certificate you received via Messages from N26.

Every customer is eligible to file a maximum of two claims per year. After the second successful claim, the insurance will automatically expire.

For any further information, always refer to the Terms and Conditions document that will be sent to your Messages in the app right after the purchase of your coverage. Additionally, you can always reach out to support@simplesurance.de for any information regarding your policy or claim.
