What if I have a negative balance?

You are not permitted to overdraw your N26 account.  If the available balance in your account is not sufficient to cover a payment you have authorized, that payment will be rejected. However, your account balance may go negative in cases of technical overdraft - this occurs when you don't have enough money in your account to cover certain N26 account fees, such as a card replacement fee.
