How do I activate my debit card?

Please keep in mind that:

  • You need to physically have your debit card in order to activate it. You’ll need your 10-digit token number for this: it’s found below your name on the front of your debit card. We’ll ask you for this number every time you contact us to prove it’s really you.

  • If you have multiple debit cards (for example, you ordered your card more than once or your delivery was delayed), you can only activate your most recent debit card. All other debit cards will be disabled. This is because you can only have one card per account.

  • You’ll need to follow the activation steps below every time you activate a new or replacement debit card.

  • Activate your debit card through the mobile app:

    1. Log into your account.

    2. Then go to: "Actions"→"Card Settings"→"Activate".

    3. You will need to enter your token number (below your name).

  • Activate your card through the web app:

    1. Log into your account. The option to activate the debit card will be seen as a banner on the home page.

    2. You will need to enter your token number (below your name).

After you’ve activated your debit card, the next step is choosing a card PIN.
