Adding your N26 Visa® debit card to Apple Pay is simple.  Here’s how to get started.

  1. Open the Wallet app.

  2. Tap the “+” sign in the upper-right corner.

  3. Enter your card’s security code to add your credit or debit card  affiliated with your iTunes account. Or, select “Add a different card,” and use your iPhone camera to scan the card information. 

How do I add my N26 debit card to my iPad?

To add your N26 debit card to your iPad:

  1.  Go to Settings.

  2. Tap “Wallet & Apple Pay” and select “Add Credit or Debit Card.”

  3. Enter your card’s security code to add your credit or debit card affiliated with your iTunes account. Or, select “Add a different card,” and use your iPad camera to scan the card information. 

How do I add my N26 debit card to my Apple Watch?

To add your N26 debit card to your Apple Watch: 

  1. Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone.

  2. Tap “Wallet & Apple Pay” and select “Add Credit or Debit Card.”

  3. Enter your card’s security code to add your credit or debit card  affiliated with your iTunes account. Or, select “Add a different card,” and use your iPhone camera to scan the card information. 

How can I add my N26 debit card to my Mac?

  • To add your N26 debit card to your Mac: 
    • Make sure that the Mac that you are using is:
      • A model with Touch ID, or 
          1. Go to System Preferences
          2. Click Wallet & Apple Pay
          3. Click Add Card
          4. Follow the steps to add a new card.
          5. Tap Next.  Your account will now be verified.
          6. Once verification is completed, tap Next.
          7. Set your N26 debit card as your default card by touching and dragging it to the front of the stack.
          8. You can now start using your N26 debit card in Apple Pay
      • A Mac model introduced in 2012 or later with an Apple Pay-enabled iPhone or Apple Watch, where you can complete your purchase using Apple Pay on these devices. 
          1. With these, you will have to go to your iPhone
          2. Tap on Settings
          3. Tap on Wallet & Apple Pay
          4. Turn on Allow Payments on Mac.

How do I set up my N26 debit card as the default card in my Apple Wallet?

  1. Setting your N26 debit card as the default card in your Apple Wallet is fairly simple.  The first card you add to Wallet becomes your default card for payments.

  2. To set a different card (in this case, your N26 card) all you have to do is move it to the front of the stack. 

    1. In Wallet, choose your default card.

    2. Touch and hold the card.

    3. Drag it to the front of the stack.

I'm unable to link my N26 debit card to Apple Pay, what am I doing wrong?

  • If you are experiencing a problem linking the N26 debit card to Apple Pay complete the following steps:
    • Check if Apple Pay is available on your device, or
    • You may have exceeded the maximum number of cards that can be registered with Apple Pay.
  • If your device is compatible with Apple Pay and you have not exceeded the maximum number of cards that can be registered with Apple Pay, then you should contact Apple Support.(new tab)

How do I use Apple Pay?

  • Payment in stores.
    1. The merchant needs to have contactless / Apple Pay as a payment option.
    2. Rest your finger on Touch ID button or double tap the side button for Face ID.
    3. Hold your iPhone to the contactless reader.
  • Online payments.
    1. Choose Apple Pay as a payment option on the online store.
    2. Rest your finger on Touch ID button or double tap the side button for Face ID.
    3. Confirm your payment (a pop-up will ask you to do so).

My debit card is suspended, according to an error message from Apple Wallet, what do I do now?

It is most likely because your card was inadvertently deactivated.  To reverse this, simply: 

  1. Launch the N26 app.

  2. Tap Actions (on the lower right hand of the screen).

  3. Tap Card Settings.

  4. Tap Unlock card (under the Card image on the top half of the screen).

You can link your N26 card to Apple Cash by following these steps:

  1. Open "Wallet" on your Apple device.

  2. Select "Apple Cash".

  3. Tap the three dots on the upper right hand corner.

  4. Select "Add Money".

  5. Select "Add Card".

  6. Position your N26 card in the frame to scan.

  7. Tap "next" when the scan is complete.

  8. Enter your card's 3-digit security code.

  9. Tap "Next".

  10. Your card is now linked.

How can I transfer money to my N26 account from Apple Cash?

Transferring money to your N26 account from Apple Cash can be achieved by following these steps:

  1. Select "Transfer to Bank".

  2. Enter the amount you want to transfer.

  3. Select how quickly you want the money transferred.

    1. "Instant Transfer". There is a fee associated with this option.

    2. "1-3 Business Days". There is no charge for this option.

  4. Done.
