Why did my Wise account linking fail?
If you are currently unable to link your existing Wise account, one of the most common reasons why this could have happened is due to incomplete personal details on your Wise account. If you have set up an account in the past directly with Wise using the same email address as that registered on your N26 account and you did not fill out all the personal details, we will not be able to link your account within N26 You can follow the below steps to get access to your Wise account:
- Please login (new tab) to your Wise account by going to their website or via their app.
- Check your details and ensure that your full name, address, date of birth and phone number are complete.
If you cannot remember your password go to their website (new tab) and follow these steps:
- Select ‘Forgot Password’ to reset your password.
- Follow the instruction sent to you and then access your account.
If you cannot remember creating an account with Wise, you should still try to log in by resetting your password. It could be that it was created via another partner or some time ago.
