Why did my TransferWise account linking fail?

We are sorry that you cannot currently link your existing TransferWise account. The most common reason why this could have happened is due to incomplete personal details on your TransferWise account. 

If you have set up an account in the past directly with TransferWise using the same email address as that registered on your N26 account, and you did not fill out all personal details, we will not be able to link your account within N26. 

Please log into your TransferWise account at www.transferwise.com/login(new tab), or via their app, and ensure that your full name, address, date of birth and phone number are complete. 

If you cannot remember your password, go to www.transferwise.com/login(new tab) and select ‘Forgot password’ to reset your password and access your account.

If you cannot remember creating an account with TransferWise, you should still try to log in by resetting your password. It could be that it was created via another partner or some time ago.
