How to upgrade to Black?

ℹ️ Applies to Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Poland, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden and the UK.

You can upgrade to N26 Black during initial sign-up, or by upgrading in the mobile app if you have a standard N26 bank account. To upgrade to Black from the mobile app:

  • For iOS: Simply log in into your mobile app and go to the Explore tab next to the + button. Then select Get Black and scroll across to see the Black option (from right to left).

  • For Android: log into the app mobile and swipe right until you reach the Upgrade tab next to your current balance.  Then select Get Black and scroll across to see the Black option (from right to left).

After choosing your preferred delivery method and accepting the N26 Black T&C's, you’ll have to confirm your request by entering your Confirmation PIN. Then your new card will be on the way.

  • Standard deliveries take up to 10 business days whereas express deliveries take 3 business days.

  • The membership fee of €9,90 will be deducted directly from your account every month on the date of your upgrade.

  • The minimum contract period for the N26 Black membership is one year. Your membership will automatically renew unless you cancel it up to four weeks before the contract ends.
