Why is there a waitlist to sign up?
To lay even stronger foundations for our business in the future, we are increasing our focus on our service experience, product offering and processes to become an even better bank for you in the years to come.
With the overwhelming demand for N26’s digital banking products, we will be making a temporary limitation to the number of new bank accounts that we can offer each month.
With this, we have had to temporarily pause new customer onboarding in certain markets. We encourage you to sign up to our waiting list and will be in touch as soon as we’re able to offer you the account of your choice.
Will this pause affect existing customers?
This temporary pause in new signups will not affect existing N26 customers at all and you can expect the same seamless, safe and secure digital banking experience on your smartphone you know and love.
We are working hard to make the process as smooth as possible for anyone trying to sign up and we do expect to be able to open new accounts for all customers soon.
How will I know when I can open an account again?
If you tried to open an account and were unable to do so, the best way to stay updated would be to sign up to our waiting list. We’re going to get in touch as soon as we are able to make the account of your choice available to you.
As we continue to see tremendous demand for our product, we still want to make sure to offer all customers on our waiting list fair access to the N26 banking experience by contacting them on a first-come-first-served basis once we are going to be able to offer them an account.
