PSD2 - Open Banking for Third Party Providers
We are partnering with Token.io(new tab) to provide and support a dedicated interface for third-party payment service providers (''TPPs''). The complete documentation and the on-boarding instructions can be found in the Token.io developer portal(new tab).
As part of its legal obligations under PSD2, N26 has implemented a contingency mechanism, which provides the following:
Reliable identification of a TPP via possession of a valid Qualified Website Authentication Certificate (QWAC);
Secure and authorised access to an account
TPPs may access our contingency mechanism via the following URL:
Access to the above URL and establishing the TLS connection requires implementation of a qualified certificate.
In order to obtain the detailed technical documentation a TPP may contact N26 via firstname.lastname@example.org and provide N26 with a valid eIDAS certificate (QWAC). After reviewing the validity of the certificate, N26 will provide a TPP with the requested detailed documentation and support.
