How long do transfers take?

All incoming ACH payments are completed within one banking day. Due to the opening times of the participating banks, one banking day may stretch over two working days.

If your incoming transfer is outside of these estimated time frames, please contact the sender (bank) for a payment investigation as we cannot track incoming transfers.

Please keep in mind that we observe all federal bank holidays. On those days, banks are unable to process deposits, which may delay the arrival of your direct deposit. Please reach out to your payroll provider to determine how they deal with holidays that may conflict with your payday. For a list of bank holidays observed by N26, please take a look here

Why hasn’t my money arrived?

There are a few reasons why this may have happened:

  1. Please double check with the payment sender that the correct account and routing number were used. 
  2. Ensure that the payment sender put your correct name as it is written on your ID. A correct account and routing number are not sufficient.
